The episodes are already in their chronological order so there won’t be any confusion while you watch them. I highly recommend that you watch Clannad and Clannd After Story but be prepared to feel emotions you have never felt with any other anime or TV series before. There is only one season in Hyouka and hence, the only way you can watch it is its release order. I ended up watching Clannad anime during the school year, obsessively instead of, you know, doing my homework. Clannad has had a weird emotional impact, one that I can't really explain. The thing that annoyed me most was that there were three characters all with purple hair and it took a while to learn who was who. The character design was rather bland but being based off a graphic novel the character design was spot on. The animation style was beautiful as well, it gave a euphoric feel to the entire show. Clannad pulls at your heart at every chance it gets and when you're down and you think you can't take any more it kicks you again. The narrative follows the Life Span of Tomoya Okazaki, From adolescence to. Most people want that strong girl who can fend for herself and protect herself. An English version for Windows was released on Steam from Sekai Project in 2015. People say shes the worst and its probably because of her personality. Nagisa is the kindest character, next to Ushio, in the whole series. As the show progressed I realized that it wasn't simply a teenage drama, it delved into some really emotional themes, especially in the second season (After Story). VERDICT While a truly powerful and beautiful series, I recommend Clannad and Clannad After Story for older audiences, mainly because some scenes may be too upsetting for younger viewers. The anime series Clannad takes place in a fictional city in Japan called Hikarizaka City is where most of the events of Clannad occur. Episodes 16, 18 and 23 of After Story (the sequel series to the original series) are the saddest IMO. The campy dialogue, the horribly rushed plot, the crazy and completely unnecessary lighting effects. She lived a life of solitude until one day love entered her life but as cruel fate would have it, the more the young woman loved, the closer she came to her death. Watch it for the sole purpose of laughing at how bad it is. He accompanies Tomoya in skipping high school and pranking the other characters. Legend tells of a winged beauty who was so feared that she was confined to a palace, never to leave its gates alive. Unlike Tomoya’s character, he is extroverted and dimwitted. When the scene calls for it, Sunohara also serves as comic relief.
